Naturally, once word hit that Shakira and Usher wouldn’t be returning to Season 5 of The Voice with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, reports hit making it sound like they were gone for good. One even tried to make Usher sound like a bit of an ass. US Weekly had a ‘source’ say that the singer ‘had more important things to do,” making it sound like mentoring young artists was beneath him.

With the ratings upswing this season, it’s no surprise that Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story has gotten a third season full pick up from FX with Jessica Lange returning. The Asylum edition has been a vast improvement over last season, and Dylan McDermott will be back this season as a very different character. The latest promo for next week is below.

I wasn’t nearly as enthusiastic with Ryan Murphy’s first season of American Horror Story, but American Horror Story Asylum is an entirely different story, and the first two episodes set a very strong pace for the show. Now I’m actually looking forward to what happens next!

Ryan Murphy has given us so many creative teaser trailers so when we get an actual full one for American Horror Story: Asylum you barely know how to take it all in. We’ve been spoonfed such little pieces, getting a full one is such a treat and this one features a lot of Adam Levine and Evan Peters.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are sticking to The Voice for another two seasons while Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera take a small break next season. Shakira and Usher will fill their red seats next spring.
