After all the ‘R’ rating and then ‘PG-13’ and back to ‘R’ for ‘The Expendables 2’, it’s great to just to report new images of what we want to see, those action stars of yesteryear kicking ass, shooting us stuff and doing what they do best. The ‘Expendables 2’ confusion continues as Sylvester Stallone allegedly told a fansite dedicated to him that the latest action hero film will actually be an ‘R’ rating even though he told more reliable source Ain’t It Cool News that it would be a ‘PG-13’ rating to placate Chuck Norris.

All sorts of reports have been leaking out about ‘Expendables 2’ which I’m hoping are all wrong since I really liked ‘Expendables’ for the fun it was. Sequels usually have some issues, but this one’s been plagued with bad news for quite some time, and then when it came out the Chuck Norris felt it should be PG-13 since fans just don’t want to see some bloodshed or have a couple ‘F’ bombs tossed here and there. Kinda weird hearing that from a man who was known for ‘Chuck Norris Will Kick Your Ass’, and now this made him sound more like a crotchety old man. Fans were up in arms since anyone who say these fun action heroes back in their day know that’s what we got with their films. It’s not about slipping in an ‘f’ bomb for fun, it’s just having the film be all out balls to the wall pure escapist action.
